Hello. I recently discovered TVT and I'm not a regular tank simmer. I usualy stick to IL2.

I had a quick question if thats alright. Is there a skin transfer function in TVT like is present in IL2 online play? I was looking through the TVT folders and did not see any skin texture bitmaps.

There are skin templates that were in patch1 from memory, the mmp5 mod has a lot of new textured tanks, do you wish to create skins or have some more choices?

More choices I assume. As I'm not talented enough perhaps to do my own skins... I just wanted to get some funky big white propaganda slogan on the side of my Russian tank. But it would be pointless if no one else could see it.

Hey while I have your attention what version of TVT is most popular online right now. I just downloaded MMP5.0.

I was just thinking to do a search and try and find out whats different between stock TVT and MMP5.

And I believe someone was mentioning also needing to delete TVT Cache once in a while or something?? My frame rates seem to be dropping each time I play.

MMP5 is the latest version though we have had some problems with it. Not being able to select another map being a prime bug.

We are re-testing MMP4 tonight to check on it's stability, if it goes as well as it used to, we will use that version until we get a fixed mmp5. You will need gameranger to connect, as the direct connect is a bit hit and miss.
