T34 vs TIGER Kursk add on

Post  Luftace on Tue Jan 19, 2010 4:40 am

Hi all, just stumbled across this site, and thought I might share some little known information from what I can see at my brief perusal here so far. For those that do not know, a full expansion for TvsT is in the works for a tentative release of late February. The progress can be found here. This first installment will be a Kursk campaign, and if it does well (yes, it will be payware), the author plans to release more campaigns and vehicle add-ons. Already there are several new vehicles and features that will be added such as panthers, stugs, isu-122s, studebaker katayusha trucks, etc. Common bug problems will also be addressed as well as performance and ballistics set to historical standards. Rumor has it that your opponent will no longer be able to pick you off magically through the thick woods, rather they will now be proper obstacles. Also, at some point, infantry may act in smarter manner than has been seen in the past. I hope this is helpful for anyone who had not known about this as of yet, and even though I am new here at the moment, I really hope you take a look at what is in the works so far for this ambitious project.

Oh yeah, ZeeWolf (add-on author) has already released a FREE mod patch that corrects ai behaviour as well as ballistics/performance to update the current campaign missions that were shipped with the original game. Do try it out, surely it's a good taste of things to come. Very Happy Here is the forum link regarding the download of this freebie.
