A Detailed Report On The "Tiger" PZKW 6

Post  woofiedog on Sun Nov 20, 2011 9:17 am

Came across this web site with an interesting report compiled about the Tiger tanks captured after the Africa campaigns and was published in Tactical and Technical Trends, No. 34, September 23, 1943.

One of the report findings is about the armor plate.

Quote: The side plating shows surface hardness and brittleness, with a strong tendency to crack and flake. The side plate of the turret also flakes badly on the inside.

And a little addition in case of anyone that is working on an updated Tiger interior for TvT.

Quote: There is also the push button switch for the loader to press when he is ready for the gun to be fired, which completes the firing circuit and lights up a signal light in front of the gunner.
