Its incredibly addictive, even though the game design is very simplistic. The new battlefields are much better than the old ones though, and I wish they would scrap the old ones altogether.
Much better gameplay during daytime GMT when the kids are at school!

no no - each map has its own charm - sometimes I hate it with my Hummel for example in Himmelsdorf , but i like them all

Does anyone have a favourite or most hated tank in their garage?
During the first release I had a full spec Luchs for scouting, a Hetzer with all the extra's, and a mobile gun or two.
The Luchs was really quick and ideal for the job, and the Hetzer was stronger than I imagined it would be.
For the second release I bought a Stug and spent 300,000 credits on it. The 10.5 gun with HE will knock out an IS3 after a few side on shots.
Then I bought a Pzr4 and fitted that out with everything. What a disaster, very slow, the firepower was useless as the turret turned too slowly, and it was too slow for scouting. I sold that yesterday.
I then bought a Bison and I was amazed at how effective that was.
I have also bought a PIII and fitted that with the best of everything, and it is an excellent scout, with good firepower.
I do not understand why players buy huge slow tanks, I would much rather buy a small one, fit it with the best, and then fully train the crew. It is great fun doing it that way.

Re: World of tanks
i notice that every tank in the beginning was horrible to play - I was frustrated. With increasing experience and better equipment, it was getting better and better.
I had a fully equipped Hummel and a JgdPzIV - the crew was on 110% ... very strong. Now after the patch I started at 100% (for 200 gold per crew-member) and get it piece by piece.

Re: World of tanks
It's pissin me off as of late. After the wipe, I went for the panther, but alas I took the wrong medium tank and had to get the tiger. What a joke. I just ran out of my premium, not enough gold to extend it for any time, So now I can only play level 1 tanks and farm for gold as I wait for my month again. Hopefully when and if I do get back the premium, I can outfit my Tiger to be competitive, as now it sucks. The matchmaker it totally screwed up, and I keep getting thrown on IS-3's and such with inferior firepower. Theyt keep sayin it's only BETA, but I don't hold out much hope to be able to play with others who can play 20 hours a day.
