Hi, I'm interesting in joining your testing group but have some time limitations (family).

I have only played TvsT offline for now.
I've certainly enjoyed mucking around with the armour/penetration and engine values in the script files.

I have also been involved in modding/testing & flying online the old game European Air War in recent years.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thats great.

Thank you for the kind words Brit, although I'm not sure what practical skills I can bring.

I can't help but think it would be great to have the best of both worlds - realistic multiplayer and the extra tanks and features ZW is building, all in the one game.

Yes that would be great dude but Zeewoolfs mod needs a lot optomisation to make it playable I am lucky if I get 2-4fps playing it even those amongst us that have the latest spec Krays are bearly getting double figures in FPS.

What I would suggest, when we release the mmp mod, is that the guys we select for testing, especialy the guys from the US and NZ and other places that would have bloody great big pings trying to play with us. Is to set up your own test fourum of say max 10 guys, play of gameranger it seems to be the most stable and let us know of the problems or bugs you get, so we can fix and prepare a patch if fixable, but bear in mind some bugs could be caused locally of which we would have no control.

What would also help, would be locations and yes I know it usually appears in your sign in but some guys forget thank you.

I am a old french player of TvsT, i am interested to try again MP game.
I'll use Gameranger if necessary and i have a Tvst version with MMP5 final Mod of AKM (AKM was an old squaddie but know the fight clan is Out)
It will be a pleasure to try the aventure another time.

Thanks for signing in guys will let you know when we relise, Nice to see you Elrik if I rember we had some good fights on tvt in the past and Hi tiger shuffle. Also may I suggest that if you are a clan or a bunch of guys, dependent on numbers who just want to play this game, you use Gameranger also limit the numbers of players per room we got to 9/10, 8/9 is more stable. So I suggest the following that you us multiple rooms, ranging from novice to bloody great and within that system you use a tier system I.e. the top 2 out of one room after a certain amount of battles move up a tier the bottom 2 move down and so on, dependet on the number of rooms you have as i said it is only a suggestion.

I will be back in the UK on 5th April, and my broadband is going live 6th April. On top of that I intend upgrading the rest of my pc. The current spec is:

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual 5000+ 2.61Ghz
4 meg 667mhz
32 bit Vista SP2
ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER 7 PRO
GIGABYT GA-MA785GM-US2H
AKASA ZEN-BLACK SILENT MIDI ATX
CORSAIR MEMORY 650W TX SERIES AT
Nvidia Geoforce9500GT

I intend installing a faster processor and a new graphics card. I may also do something to bypass the onboard Realtek sound chip, as this is causing known screen freezes in WOT, it does the same in TvT, which is something that never happened when the GPU was installed in my old Dell. Progress huh!

I have been playing WoT for many months, but it is losing its appeal, too many lemmings, too much griping and very little realism. If we can take TvT to where it should be, I think that many WoT players may track down a copy and join us?

Down under in New Zealand - opposite time of day to UK.

I note from the lastest postings on Subsim, ZW (with help?) has sovled many of his mods FPS problems, admittedly on a fairly high spec machine.
I wonder under what conditions he would allow some swapping of resources/knowledge.

Hi BP,

We initially approached Zee when he made his first release for TvT. We were happy to join forces with him and make TvT the game it always should of been. Zee then explained to us that he was going to be charging for the work he was going to release.

As you know, the MMP mod is free to play and that charging for our work was not something we wanted to do at the time. We also offered at the time to exchange information with Zee to speed up development for both our mods, this offer was politely refused.

So here we are, two mods for a game that has a very small following, a bit of a silly situation but that is how it is. As for the frame rates, we regularly get 30 fps with 20 -30 vehicles on the map and anywhere up to 100 fps on mission start with 6 - 10 vehicles in game, so it is nice to see that Zee is now getting the frame rates somewhere near to what we have accomplished several months ago.
