Invasion1944 Mod Release

Remember that Monkwarrior was actively working on this mod before he passed away to the hereafter. So please show your support by playing the game and visiting the forums. We at least owe him that.

-Operation Arrowhead / Combined Operations Support-

Although the modification will load with Combined Operations it has not been optimised fully and therefore at this time we cannot fully support it. We hope to shift development over to Combined Operations with our first patch so full support is coming!
Operation Arrowhead (standalone) will remain unsupported due to our use of base ARMA2 units. The modification may work but we have not tested the standalone version at all.


-Content-

Here's a brief summary of what is included in version 2.0. Be sure to check the classlist.txt for a full list of units objects weapons and ammunition:

Soldiers

* German, British and US ground forces - (Heer and FsJ for the Germans), (British Commandos), and (Army and Rangers for the Americans).
* 15+ infantry weapons

Vehicles

* 20+ German vehicles - including tanks, recon vehicles and troop carriers.
* 10+ Allied vehicles - including tanks, recon vehicles, troop carriers and landing craft.

Aircraft

* P-51, C47 & Bf109

Amphibious

* LCM and LCVP landing craft

Missions

* 7 MP Missions
* 5 SP Missions

Soundtrack

* Over 30 minutes of original music by SFG

Other

* Ambient Environment objects - ships and aircraft for atmospheric purposes, not actually playable.
* Ballistics coding

-Changes from the ArmA1 release-

Several things were removed from this release because they were either causing problems that would have needlessly delayed a release, or could not be completed in time. Most prominent of these are the Waffen SS units, which were causing crashes. They will be added back in a "Waffen SS" DLC package later on along with other content. Other things that could not be included right now will be either reintroduced in the DLC, or in a patch. The original single-player campaign was removed since it proved hard to port to ARMA2. It has been replaced by several MP missions, most notably "D-Day" and "D+1".


-Known issues-

Most of the bugs (80-90%) in this release are graphical bugs and RPT errors. We are aware of many of these bugs, and do intend to fix them in the next release. Thank you for the heads up Ludwig. We as a group are glad that all our hard work on the tanks is going to see the light of day Smile

I have downloaded it and followed the install instructions to the letter. I can not see through the gunners optics in the 3 tanks I tried. The Pz ivg, Pz v and the Stuart. All optics are black.

I believe this is the patch that just came out later today that fixes those issues.

Just tried a very quick test in the Panther and the optic is working Smile

A couple of bugs though:

The commanders view has the black triangle from the strich visable.



The gunners machine gun is not working.

It seems even with the 2.2 hotfix the black triangle is still there.

Played a mp mission with ghost and vase with 20 other guys. What an absolute rush. In a Sherman with full infantry support. Just superb, well done the i44 team.

Are you talking about CO-OP or PvP MP? If it's the former, It makes me sad. Nothing beats old school PvP.

That's true. I think they have a much more motivated team lead that wants to produce a gem. All the require from us is patience and feedback.

i44 Installation Guide?

Is there one available? I just downloaded all the patches and applied in order - ArmA runs but I can't access any i44 scenarios?

Black triangle
