Hi, I'm on Eastern Standard Time (Montreal, Canada), GMT -5:00.
I'm available any time after 19:00 EST.
I can hook-up via GameSpy Arcade, Gameranger, or Hamachi.

I'm registered on Hamachi network: DNS-T34VTIGER-, pswd: 123;
or network: Ligue TvT , pswd: 1234.
I wanted to join network: panzersim, password: wemodtanks, but it's already full.

See these links for some guidance: http://panzersim.forumotion.com/t34-vs-tiger-general-f1/hosting-and-connecting-to-mp-games-t13.htm, and http://www.hitenter.co.uk/tvt/english.html

I have the original game install without any mods.
See ya, Falco250

We host a gameranger game most nights which is password protected. The reason for the password is we have a different version to you guys and if you were to join with you're version, the server crashes. As soon as we are happy that we have a stable version we will release the updated for all.

I am from the US. Central Standard Time. I can play at different times everyday, all depends on my work schedule. What version of the MMP should I have, .5?

Hi Gentroy,

We are currently testing a new mmp6 created by akm. This release is not for general release at the moment. Mp games are best found on gameranger, which is what we use. We are looking at a standard build we can get out to everyone, the problem we have is that TvT is not very stable in MP. We are also creating a new game called PanzerUnity (at the mo) so our time is spread between the two projects, with PU getting most of our attention, though we still play TvT, as it is the bench mark for ww2 tank sims.

Gameranger http://www.gameranger.com/ is the best course of action.

@GenTroy

You are close to Falco250. It must be very easy to contact each other and try to connect a MP session.
Use this forum to organize dates and involve other players.

Don't know where oilman is coming from - maybe is able to join too

i always commend the GME (GenericModEnabler) to handle different mots without touching the stock version of the game.

we mostly use the stock-version with the betapatch and changing between the modifications (please note; mmp6 is not public yet and the betapatch will be included)

So the only mod you use for online is the MMP 5.0? Is that mod strictly for online use or does it also improve the single player campaign?

Hi GenTroy.

I'm in the Pacific time zone. I have MMP5 and gameranger. Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons work for me. Sorry I'm pretty limited in time. I have not tried multiplayer yet. It sounds like it may take some patients to get it to work. I could also instal a stock version if you want to start experimenting there. Let me know if your set up for team speak or other.

GenTroy

no, the mmp5 it's not the only mod we use. It's the last version from mmp but it's not stable.
The mods don't improve the game - they change some characteristics and yes they also effect the single player modus.

have a look on this site and note eg the full details from mmp3 (there is a changelog in detail)

I'm set up with ventrilo and Teamspeak so I can do either one. Hoti, which mods do most players use for online play? So I can download the most popular mods. Oilman, I would be interested in doing some mplayer games, my gameranger name is GenTroy.

I suggest we go with mmp5 for start. Simply because I do not have a stock version loaded right now. But if you guys want I load up a stock version.

Maybe one of the veteran players knows if we can text in game?

I was hoping to do a little gaming at least on Thursday nights. And occasionaly other nights. I'm in the Pacific time zone so two hours behind you.

I was just trying to host a game on Gameranger. But it does not like my router settings. So I will need to figure that out.

Open Ports

You need to open ports in your firewall to play in Gameranger.

To host and join you need to forward ports 25857 for both UDP and TCP

Ya I have no idea how to set up my router. So I'll go to work on figuring that out.

My plan thus far was to set up a team speak (or other) on a seperate tower. So I got the second tower set up last night. But still need to set up a chat program on it. And find a head set. But if we are just playing skirmish than chat is not that important.
